Military Aircraft

Early-career Marines and Officers were struggling to identify friendly military aircraft and understand their capabilities—leading to challenges in selecting the right air support during missions.

I designed a targeted learning solution that included:
• A short, scenario-based eLearning module focused on aircraft identification and capabilities
• A quick-reference guide for real-time use during operations
This approach allows learners to review content during downtime and apply it immediately in the field.

After completing the training, learners are able to:
• Identify military aircraft and their capabilities
• Select the appropriate aircraft for mission requirements

Accurate aircraft identification and tasking are critical to mission success. Without these skills, ground units may not receive the close or deep air support they need.
To measure effectiveness, performance is tracked through air support mission data. This solution is projected to improve aircraft tasking accuracy by 75%.
