Meet Frederick Favors Jr.
I am an Instructional Designer and retired Marine with a background in training, instruction, and adult learning. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Sociology, which informs my approach to understanding learner behavior, motivation, and real-world application. My experience as both a military instructor and drill instructor shaped my ability to design structured, disciplined, and results-driven learning environments.
I specialize in creating engaging, student-centered learning experiences across eLearning, video-based instruction, simulations, and LMS platforms such as Moodle. In addition to traditional instructional design, I develop simulations for aviation command-and-control, creating realistic, scenario-based environments that prepare learners for high-stakes decision-making.

Specialty
I specialize in creating engaging, student-centered learning experiences across eLearning, video-based instruction, simulations, and LMS platforms such as Moodle. In addition to traditional instructional design, I develop simulations for aviation command-and-control, creating realistic, scenario-based environments that prepare learners for high-stakes decision-making.
Throughout my career, I have worked extensively with adult learners, including Marines, instructors, and young adults in post-secondary environments. I understand the importance of flexibility and accessibility, especially for learners balancing demanding schedules, and I design solutions that support just-in-time learning and real-world application.
Difference
What sets my work apart is a strong focus on performance and impact. I design instruction that not only informs but changes behavior—improving decision-making, increasing efficiency, and supporting mission or job success. From developing simulation-based training to transitioning organizations from traditional methods to scalable digital learning, my goal is always to deliver measurable results.
